Certified Teacher & IT Professional
My students call me "Mr. Robot" because I geek out about all things tech in the classroom. My colleagues call me "Mr. Smiley" because I am always happy to reset email passwords or stay late for a Slack migration. A trained mechanical engineer with international sales experience, I've worked in education for 10+ years as a STEM teacher, Department Chair, IT Director, and LMS Campus Administrator.​ Did I mention I won Teacher of the Year? Oh, the good ole days.
Now, I am working as an IT Security Specialist in a growing, industry-leading AI Company working with SaaS applications and building relationships with vendors. I love working on the innovation teams and collaborating with my colleagues to solve technical issues. I am so lucky to love my work!
I developed the first Robotics and Design Program at Murchison Middle School and led our award-winning team to the World Championships. Go Murchison Matadors!​
